Game Theory 1 - The Monty Hall Problem

Yes, i'm speaking very quickly in this video on purpose. Recently at work, someone decided that they wanted the training department to produce a training video. Neither i nor the other trainer wanted our faces in this video, so i pulled out my old copy of Flash MX, animated something up and made the other trainer narrate it.

Somehow, this sequence of events lead my brain to the idea of making little Flash animations that introduce various Game Theory concepts. It's edutainmental!

Boom de Yada

In the Doctor Who Christmas special that aired a few weeks ago, the Doctor made a comment along the lines of "How did boredom ever even get invented?" I've decided that that's actually a pretty good philosophy to have.

I decided some time ago that i should do something to make myself more visible at night, so when i saw Lady Ada's Tron Bag, i figured that adding some EL wire to my jacket would be the way to go. The fact that i saw her bag the day after i saw Tron: Legacy might have influenced my decision a bit too.

Some more art from the same project as the stained glass window, altho the building on the right is certainly reminiscent of the architecture from Mission Point. I suppose that shouldn't be that surprising, since i drew them both.

Mission Point Backgrounds

Background sketches for an adventure game project i was working on until i saw something shiny and got distracted. I believe all three of these were drawn live on my ustream. The top one is the old mission around which the town of Mission Point was built. The second one is the Theta Corp robotics factory. The last one is the town's central station which serves both as the primary terminal for its elevated monorail and as a zeppelin dock.

I'd say this is some of the better figure drawing i've done recently. I think she must be some sort of action hero or something. She probably has to go disarm some sort of bomb underwater. Or maybe plant one underwater. That would explain why she's wearing nothing but a bikini and a tactical vest.
